Pet Portraits

I have always had a love for drawing pets. My goal when painting a pet is to capture not only your pet’s likeness but also the personality of your furry friend. To me, that starts with the eyes, or the soul of the pet. Pet portraits can be special gifts for those who love their pet or a wonderful way to preserve the memory of a beloved pet.

To get the process started, simply click on the submission button below and submit the pet portrait commission form. Make sure you leave a good contact number so we can discuss your pet and how to begin the commission process. I will need a few favorite photos of your pet that showcase their personality. Photos need to be clear, with attention to the true color and detail of the fur and eyes. A deposit will be required.

Each pet will be painted with acrylic paints on a gallery-wrapped and stretched cotton canvas. Each portrait will come with painted sides and a hanger and wire, ready for framing in a standard frame*. Each portrait is sealed with a protective varnish to last for years to come.

*Framing is not included.
